The question this page has to answer
There are good firms twenty minutes from you. Why call one in Islamabad?
It is a fair question and most pages targeting this search avoid it. Here is the honest split — including the cases where you should hire locally and not call us at all.
Hire locally when the work is physical
If the project needs someone standing in your warehouse counting stock, sitting with your shop staff while they learn a till, or photographing a catalogue over several days, distance is a real cost and a Lahore firm will serve you better. We will say so on the first call rather than take the work and manage it badly.
Distance stops mattering once the work is the work
A store build, an app, a rebuild of a slow site — these are done on a screen. What decides them is whether the scope was written down, whether you can see progress weekly, and whether anyone answers on a Friday. Being in the same city improves none of those on its own, and plenty of businesses have been let down by a firm three streets away.
What you should actually be checking
Not the address. Ask for two live URLs with real catalogues and permission to phone the owners. Ask who will own the code and the hosting. Ask what happens in week one. A firm that answers those three concretely is worth a video call from anywhere; a firm that does not is not worth a taxi ride.
What Lahore clients come for
Mostly retail, and mostly the same three shapes.
Store builds and rebuilds
Shopify or WooCommerce, argued from your volume rather than our preference, with cash on delivery and courier flows built in.
Product pages that survive a phone
For a fashion or lifestyle catalogue the first image is most of the page. Structure, speed and image handling are the whole job.
Confirmation before dispatch
An automatic WhatsApp confirmation removes a large share of refused parcels. The highest-return change most catalogues can make.
Apps on top of a store
When repeat purchase justifies it — one Flutter codebase, both stores, published under your own developer accounts.
Systems behind the catalogue
Stock across a shop and a warehouse, dispatch, returns and the reporting a platform admin cannot express.
Traffic, once the store converts
Search and paid from the same team — but only after the store can hold the traffic. In that order, deliberately.
Catalogues we launched
Four stores you can shop in today.
How the arrangement actually runs across two cities
Vague reassurance about being "always available" is worth nothing, so here is the specific arrangement, and you should hold any firm to something equally concrete.
A live URL from week one. Not screenshots and not a demo at the end. You open the thing as it is being built, on your own phone, and say what is wrong while it is still cheap to change. This matters more than any meeting, and it is the single thing that makes remote delivery work.
One scheduled call a week, plus WhatsApp in between. Same time each week, with the person building it rather than an account manager relaying. Between calls, messages get answered inside the working day — the same day, not the next one.
Everything decided in writing. Scope, changes and what is explicitly out. This is good practice everywhere and it is essential at distance, because the corridor conversation that quietly changes a project does not exist here. Nothing gets built because someone thinks it was agreed.
We travel when it earns the trip. A kick-off for a large build, a launch, a session with staff who will use a system daily. It is not billed as travel and it is not offered as a perk — it happens when being in a room is genuinely the cheaper option, and roughly four hours on the motorway is not a barrier when it is.
Two of the four stores above were built for clients we met in person once or not at all. That is not an argument that meetings are worthless; it is an argument that a written scope and a weekly live preview do the work people hope meetings will do.
Why anyone hires out of city at all
Nobody looks for a web development company in Lahore and then deliberately calls Islamabad, so when it happens it is usually for one of three reasons, none of them romantic. The first is a specific capability — an app taken through store review, a Laravel system, a store rescue nobody local wanted to touch. The second is a bad experience with a nearby firm, where proximity turned out not to prevent anything. The third is price transparency: a written scope and one fixed number, sent within 48 hours, is unfortunately still unusual, and it travels well.
What we will not do
We will not list a Lahore address, a Lahore phone number or a co-working desk as an office. There is one office and it is in Islamabad, at F-2, Second Floor, Sector C, PWD Housing Society, on a verified Google Business Profile. A fabricated local presence is the easiest thing in this market for a buyer to catch, and if you are shortlisting firms it is worth spending five minutes looking up each address — it is more informative than the portfolio.
How it runs
Written scope, weekly preview, no surprises.
Free teardown
Send the URL and last month's orders. Back in writing inside 48 hours: what is losing you money and what is worth fixing first.
Fixed price, in writing
Every page or section listed, everything excluded stated explicitly, one number. It moves only when you change the scope.
Weekly call, live preview
A shareable URL from week one and a standing call with the person building it. Messages answered inside the working day.
Launch and hand over
Store, hosting, domain, gateway and courier accounts in your name, with a walkthrough recorded so you can rewatch it.
Money
Same price as if you were next door.
Store or site build
Priced from the section list after the teardown, with payments, cash on delivery and confirmation configured before launch rather than after a bad month.
- ✓Confirmation flow included
- ✓Courier booking wired in
- ✓Speed tested on real devices
Fix what is live
A slow, broken or inherited store. Written assessment first, including an honest answer on whether fixing beats rebuilding.
- ✓Assessment before quoting
- ✓Credentials recovered
- ✓Redirects planned if it moves
Ongoing work
Monthly, after launch, for the changes a live catalogue always needs. Optional — the handover is complete whether or not you take it.
- ✓No lock-in
- ✓Your accounts throughout
- ✓Cancel with notice
No figures on this site, and no out-of-city surcharge. Distance changes the meeting cadence, not the rate. The quote follows the teardown by 48 hours and covers the same scope it would for a client in the twin cities.
