A Shopify development agency USA merchants can check at 10,784 variants.

We built an American made-to-order uniform store that carries 675 products and 10,784 variants across 45 collections, from design to launch in three weeks. It is live, it is open in a browser right now, and the client has grown it themselves ever since.

Where stores break

Almost always at the product model.

A store that is slow, unsearchable or impossible to update rarely got that way through bad design. It got there through decisions about how products are represented, taken in week one and paid for every month afterwards.

Configuration bolted on with an app instead of built into the catalogue

Every made-to-order merchant gets sold a customiser app early, and they mostly work — until the catalogue grows. Then reporting does not understand the options, inventory does not track them, search cannot see them, and the app is billing monthly for the privilege. The alternative is to model configuration as Shopify variants, which is what we did for Team Concept: age group and size are product options, so one uniform is one product with its whole range underneath it. That is how a catalogue reaches 10,784 variants and stays maintainable.

One product duplicated into forty listings

The other half of the same mistake, arrived at from the other direction. A merchant who cannot model options creates a separate product per combination, and ends up with near-identical listings competing with each other in search, splitting their own reviews and making the collection pages unreadable. Most custom Shopify development USA merchants actually need is not a new theme — it is somebody restructuring the catalogue underneath the one they already have.

Fourteen apps, each solving one thing, all loading on every page

Apps are how a store gets slow, and the slowdown is invisible to the person who installed them because it accumulates a little at a time. Each one adds scripts, each one bills monthly, and two of them usually do the same job. Part of any serious store engagement is an inventory of what is installed, what it costs and what it would take to replace the three worst offenders with theme code that loads once.

The store you can open and check

How it runs

You see the price at step two.

01

Store teardown

Free, written, inside 48 hours. What is slowing it down, what the apps are costing and what the catalogue structure is doing to search.

02

Scope and fixed price

Every template, every app decision and the product model, written down before anyone starts.

03

Build overnight

Work happens on a development store or a theme preview. You review at the end of your day; the next version is there in the morning.

04

Launch and hand over

Store admin, theme, domain and every app account in your name. You can change agency without asking us for anything.

Money

How we quote store work.

Fixed-scope build

A new store or a rebuild. One written scope covering templates, the product model and the app list, one price in dollars, inside 48 hours of the call.

  • Free teardown first
  • App costs listed per month
  • Out-of-scope stated explicitly

Catalogue restructure

For merchants whose store works but whose products are modelled wrong. Usually the highest-return work available and rarely what people arrive asking for.

  • Variant model rebuilt
  • Redirects mapped before launch
  • No listings lost in search

Ongoing store work

Monthly, for merchants shipping changes continuously. Scoped after a teardown, cancellable with notice, and reported against what actually shipped.

  • Cancel with notice
  • Named queue, agreed monthly
  • Nothing bundled you did not ask for

There is no rate card on this site, in any currency, deliberately. What is fixed is the process: free teardown, written scope, one price, agreed before anyone starts.

FAQ

Straight answers.

How do we judge the best Shopify development agency USA merchants can hire, given every one of you claims to be it?
Ask four questions and ignore the rest of the pitch. Show me a store you built that the client has grown since without you — that tests handover. What apps did you install and what do they cost the merchant monthly — that tests whether you optimised for their bill or your speed. How do you model configurable products — that tests whether you understand the platform or just its theme editor. And who owns the store admin during and after — that tests everything else. Our answers are Team Concept, a named list per project, as variants rather than an app, and you do, from day one.
Are you a Shopify development company USA merchants can use for a large catalogue, or only small stores?
Large is where this gets interesting and where most of the value is. A forty-product store works on almost any theme; the problems start at a few hundred products with options, which is where structure begins to decide whether the store is navigable and whether search understands it. The American store on this page runs 675 products and 10,784 variants, which is a genuinely large catalogue by Shopify standards, and it was built by one team in three weeks because the model was right before the building started.
You are not in the United States. How does that work for a store?
Better than for most kinds of project, because store work is naturally batch-shaped. You review a preview link, you comment, we build — and since our day runs through your night, the next version is waiting each morning rather than later that afternoon. The honest cost is that nobody here is reachable during your working day, so a launch-day problem at 2pm Eastern needs a support window you have actually bought rather than one you assumed. We scope that in rather than let you discover it.
Do you work on an existing store or only build new ones?
Both, and the existing-store work is more often the right answer. A great many merchants arrive asking for a rebuild when what they need is a catalogue restructure, three apps removed and the product template fixed — cheaper, faster, and it keeps the search visibility the current store has already earned. The teardown will say which situation you are in, including when the answer is that your store is fine and your problem is upstream of it.
What happens to our search rankings if you rebuild?
They are protected deliberately or they are lost accidentally; there is no third outcome. Every URL on the current store gets mapped to its destination before launch, redirects go live with the store rather than after it, and the collection structure is checked against what is actually ranking now. The place this goes wrong is a catalogue restructure that silently changes handles — which is exactly why it is scoped as its own piece of work rather than being smuggled into a theme project.
Who owns the store and the apps?
You do, throughout. The Shopify account is in your company's name with your billing, every app is installed under it, and we work with staff access you can revoke in one click. If you decide mid-project to hire somebody else, you owe us for the work delivered and nothing else — you do not need our cooperation to keep operating, which is the point.
