What you get

The difference it makes.

Faster store, higher conversion

We strip app bloat and tune load speed — because every second of delay quietly costs you orders.

Custom sections, no app tax

Bespoke Liquid sections instead of ten paid apps slowing the site and stacking monthly fees.

Migrations that keep your rankings

We move products, URLs and SEO across cleanly, with redirects mapped so traffic and rankings survive.

CRO built in, not bolted on

Product pages, cart and checkout designed around how people actually buy.

Store and ads, one team

The same team that builds your store can run the Meta and Google ads pointed at it.

Process

How we work.

01

Audit & teardown

We tear down your current store (or your competitors'), find what's leaking revenue, and plan the build.

02

Design & build

Theme and custom sections built for your brand and tuned for conversion — staged on a copy.

03

CRO & integrate

Speed, payments, shipping and tracking wired up; key pages set up for testing.

04

Launch & optimise

Go live on a quiet window, then iterate on the numbers — CR, AOV and load time.

FAQ

Shopify Development questions.

Can you migrate us from WooCommerce or WordPress?
Yes — it's one of our most common projects. We migrate products, customers and content, map old URLs to new ones with redirects, and keep your SEO intact through the switch.
Custom theme or a premium base theme?
Whichever fits the budget and timeline. We're happy to customise a solid base theme heavily, or build fully bespoke when the brand needs it — we'll tell you which is the better spend.
Will my store be fast?
Speed is part of the build, not an afterthought. We avoid app bloat, optimise images and code, and watch Core Web Vitals because load time directly affects conversion.
Can you run our ads too?
Yes — GOFTECH builds and grows under one roof, so the team that ships your store can also run the Meta and Google ads that drive traffic to it.
Do you do Shopify theme development USA brands can hand to an in-house team afterwards?
That is the normal ending, not the exception. Sections are built as native Shopify sections with schema, so whoever comes next edits them in the theme editor rather than in Liquid, and the merchandising team stops filing tickets for copy changes. The Team Concept store is the clearest example we can point at: 675 products and 10,784 variants across 45 collections, run by the client without us since handover. Ask any agency what happens to the store the day they leave, and treat a vague answer as the answer.
And Shopify theme development UK side — is anything different?
Two things, and neither is about the code. VAT display rules mean the price a British shopper sees should include it, which is a market setting and a theme decision rather than an afterthought at checkout. And the delivery promise on a product page is read far more literally in the UK than elsewhere, so it needs to reflect the courier's real cut-off rather than an optimistic default. Everything upstream of those two — sections, speed, migration — is the same work.
Our store is slow and we have twenty apps. Where do you start?
By listing what each app costs you in monthly fees and in page weight, which is a spreadsheet most merchants have never actually made. The pattern is consistent: three or four apps do something essential, a few more duplicate something the theme can do natively, and the rest were installed for a campaign that ended two years ago. Replacing the middle group with sections is usually where both the speed and the monthly saving come from, and it is reversible, which makes it a safe first move.
How detailed does the redirect map need to be for a migration?
More detailed than most quotes assume, which is why it is written before anything moves rather than after. Every URL that has ever earned a visit needs a destination — products and collections obviously, but also blog posts, and the tag, filter and pagination URLs that WooCommerce generates by the hundred and that nobody remembers exist until the traffic stops. We keep the old store readable until the new one has been live long enough for Search Console to show the redirects being followed.
