Tools Gard — a Shopify store for power tools in Pakistan

We built toolsgard.pk, the Shopify store for Tools Gard, a Pakistani seller of power tools from Forward, Makita, DeWALT, Bosch, KSA and MYSOLO. It carries 107 products in 19 collections, and every product page is built around how Pakistanis buy expensive tools online: cash on delivery, a visible warranty and the right to open the parcel before paying.

Tools Gard — a Shopify store for power tools in Pakistan

The brief

A Shopify store for power tools that answers the buyer's first question, whether it's real, on the product page, and lets them pay when it arrives.

Selling power tools online in Pakistan runs into one question before any other: will the thing that arrives be the real thing? A buyer spending several thousand rupees on a grinder or a chainsaw has usually heard about fakes, does not want to pay upfront to a store they have only seen in an ad, and wants to know who fixes the tool if it fails. Most would rather order on WhatsApp than trust a checkout.

Tools Gard also sells across a wide range. There are heavy-duty industrial machines and cordless kits, and several brands at very different price points: Forward makes up almost half the catalogue, next to Makita, DeWALT, Bosch, KSA and MYSOLO. People arrive mostly from Facebook and Instagram ads, mostly on a phone, and usually on one specific product page rather than the homepage. So the store had to answer the trust question on that page, and make it easy to move from one brand or type of tool to the next.

The build

We built the store on Shopify with the Ella theme, customised into Tools Gard's own black-and-blue look, and organised the catalogue two ways. Every brand has its own collection, from Forward, Makita, DeWALT and Bosch to KSA and MYSOLO, and every type of tool has one too, such as angle grinders, hammer drills, chainsaws, concrete breakers, cordless and carpenter tools. That makes 19 collections over 107 products, with availability and price filters on each, so a buyer can compare brands for the same job or stay inside the brand they trust.

The product page does the selling. The warranty and "original quality guaranteed" badges sit directly under the product name, and the sale price and the saving come before the description. The main action is Buy with Cash on Delivery, labelled in English and Urdu, which opens a short order form rather than a full checkout. Add to Cart is still there for anyone who wants it. Below the buttons, a trust block states the estimated delivery dates, open-parcel-before-payment buyer protection and the warranty in plain words, followed by the store's promise of free shipping, support, quality and COD. Judge.me reviews carry the social proof.

On a phone, which is how most of the ad traffic arrives, the cart and COD buttons stay in reach while the buyer scrolls, a bottom bar gives Home, Search, Category and Cart, and a WhatsApp button is on every page for the people who still want to ask a person first.

The store is also where Tools Gard's Meta Ads send people, and it took 916 orders in July 2026. That campaign has its own case study.

Architecture

Built around the product page.

Most visitors land on a single product from an ad, on a phone. Everything they need to decide is on that page.
