Qalb-e-Saleem — read & listen to 20 majalis on iOS & Android
We designed and built Qalb-e-Saleem — a calm app to read and listen to the 20 majalis of the Shaikh, with full audio playback, the holy shajra and biography, and offline access. Built in Flutter on a Firebase backend for iOS and Android; 4.9★ on Google Play.

The brief
A revered set of majalis that deserved a reading — and listening — experience as calm as the words themselves, on every phone.
Hizb ur Rahman Islamic Academy wanted the 20 majalis of Qalb-e-Saleem in readers' hands as a beautiful app — something to read and to listen to, working offline, on both iOS and Android, without maintaining a separate codebase per platform.
Architecture
One codebase. Read and listen.
A single Flutter app, a Firebase backend for content and audio, and offline access so it works anywhere.
Build timeline
Twelve weeks. Four sprints.
Design + reading experience
Typography, day/night themes and the core reading flow, prototyped and signed off.
Majalis, shajra & biography
The 20 majalis, the holy shajra and the Shaikh's biography, structured and navigable.
Audio + offline + Firebase
Audio playback per majlis, offline downloads and the Firebase backend.
Polish + dual-store launch
QA on both platforms, store assets and a launch to the App Store and Google Play.
