Challenge & Strategy
Presenting a wide array of complex visa information without overwhelming visitors required an intuitive, well-structured site. We needed to optimize for search visibility on highly competitive UK immigration keywords, ensure rapid page loads on all devices, and allow non-technical staff to update content quickly. To address these, we adopted a mobile-first, component-based front end with semantic HTML and CSS media queries, paired with jQuery for interactive elements.
How We Did It:
We began with wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, defining clear user flows for visa selection, service inquiries, and resource discovery. Front-end development leveraged HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to build reusable components—visa cards, service dropdowns, FAQ accordions, and a secure contact form. On the back end, Laravel and MySQL powered dynamic content delivery, form processing, and user authentication, while middleware ensured data security and GDPR compliance.
The Results
- A substantial surge in online enquiry form submissions, streamlining lead generation.
- Noticeable drop in support ticket volume following the launch of the FAQ section.
- Enhanced engagement with the blog, reflected by extended average reading times.
- Consistent top-three placement in search engine results for primary immigration queries.
- Longer user sessions, indicating deeper exploration of services and resources.
