DK Lighting needed to present a broad catalog of electrical fixtures and accessories without overwhelming visitors, while also enabling a seamless shopping and inquiry process. At the same time, competitive search terms like “LED lighting Rawalpindi” and “best floodlights in Islamabad” required a robust SEO approach. To solve these challenges, we grouped products into intuitive categories and leveraged WordPress’s custom post types for easy management. From the outset, we layered in SEO best practices—semantic headings, optimized metadata, and local business schema—to ensure strong visibility in targeted searches.
How We Did It:
We began by mapping site structure and product taxonomy in Figma, defining layouts for home, shop, blog, and contact pages. A custom WordPress theme was then developed, using PHP templates and custom post types for each lighting category. On the front end, jQuery-powered filters and a lightbox gallery enhance product browsing, while responsive breakpoints guarantee a smooth experience across devices. For secure order inquiries and warranty registrations, we built a lightweight Laravel API that handles form submissions and routes data into a MySQL database.
