Balancing a diverse array of service details—ranging from pricing and process descriptions to eco-friendly credentials—within a single, uncluttered page was our key challenge. At the same time, we needed to ensure Honest Laundry could stand out in local search for terms like “eco-friendly laundry,” “steam washing service,” and “tough stain removal.” To meet both goals, we implemented a modular content hierarchy that groups services into collapsible blocks for a streamlined user experience, while embedding SEO best practices—optimized meta tags, semantic header structure, and descriptive alt-text—directly into the build.
How We Did It:
We kicked off with Figma wireframes, laying out modular content blocks and defining precise breakpoints for seamless display across all devices. On the front end, we implemented a mobile-first approach using responsive markup and scripting to power smooth-scroll navigation and accordion-style service panels. On the back end, a streamlined PHP script securely validates and processes contact-form submissions. To maximize SEO impact, we crafted crisp, keyword-rich headings, added schema.org markup for local business details, optimized all images for fast loading, and configured Yoast SEO for ongoing content refinement.
